Montfort Community Higher Secondary School is run by Montfort Community Trust (Estd in Aug 2004). The school is located in the tribal belt of Maramangalam panchayat in Salem District of Tamil Nadu. The school provides residential as well as day-scholar education to a total of 889 students from LKG to class XII. The school is recognized by Govt of Tamil Nadu. The school provides free education, free stationery, uniforms, footwear, free nutritious meals, etc. The school has submitted to KFRC a proposal to fund their infrastructure shortcomings, such as Building classrooms, installing an RO water plant, lunch area for day scholars, student transport requirements, Solar Energy System, Waste water recycling plant, etc. A detailed proposal with a tentative budget for each item is received by KFRC. Post discussion in the KFRC CSR Committee, it was agreed to support the school by donating Rs. 18.82 Lakhs for the construction of 2 classrooms.
