- M.Sc., Microbiology, Acharya Nagarjuna University Nagarjunanagar, A.P., India, 2001-2003.
Current Research :
Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) embolization particles have been a frequently used for many years and have been efficacious when used for a variety of indications. We are focusing on developing clinically needs of PVA embolization particles to block blood flow in blood vessels, and followed by in vitro and in vivo studies for producing effective and efficient embolic agents. The target application for this embolization agent will be emergency bleeding, aneurysms, benign conditions, cancer tumours and etc.
Platelet-rich plasma therapies have emerged as a potential approach to enhance tissue repair and regeneration. The development of lyophilized cord blood platelets and collagen based scaffold, which is useful to treat chronic wounds safely and effectively.
Experience Summary :
- Designed and executed research experiments to investigate the efficacy of lyophilized cord blood platelets impregnated collagen for diabetic rat wound healing.
- Design medical devices to block blood flow in blood vessels, and comprehensive knowledge of all kind of research methods and techniques involved Clinical Research, Biotechnology and Microbiology.
- Trained several graduates and post-graduates on various methods and practices involved at lab and field level.
